This is a website dedicated to recording the events of the lives of Alex Filipkowski and Allison Lassiter, a couple. Alex lives and works in Aspen, Colorado. Allison is in graduate school in Boston, Massachusetts. They are spending time together in Aspen, Telluride, India, and Boston. Alex and Allison,
I just now saw the pictures of your Telluride adventure. I was the Paramedic on duty in Telluride that day, and followed the radio traffic of the rescue. I remember the clouds closing in and hoping the weather would hold up long enough for everyone to be safely flown out of there. These guys were unbelievably lucky to have you two as First Responders. Without the two of you on scene so quickly and so well prepared and equipped, who knows how the day would have ended.
If you guys are coming back to Telluride for another attempt on Wilson or even just to ski, let me know – you can stay at my house.
